This is software that runs as a background service in Windows and helps split PDF files into smaller one based on split rules.
A-PDF Content Splitter Service is a windows service program which runs in the background. You are able to specify folders which will be monitored. When a file comes into the folder it will be split into multiple files based on split rules. Split rules can be location based or some content/text information inside the file. The split rule determines how the source file is to be divided into more than one. It also determines how the destination files created are going to be named. The target folder or the hot folders can be more than one and they are handled equally well by the service. The split function looks and content and decides where to split the same. This can be done in a couple of ways. One is based on keywords/tags and the other is splitting at unique text contained within the document.
The program uses two types of tags which are split tag and macro tag. Split tag is a trigger to split a file. It also can be used in output names and properties. The macro tag is used for name and properties only. The service also lets you write scripts that can either transform the tag specified or validate the tag. It is useful for large invoicing, reporting and payroll systems. These may contain many records that need to be extracted and distributed. Text within the document can be used to dynamically name output files. Splits are possible in several ways. These include one in which unique text by using word position searches. It is possible to create splits in a single click after a rule has been set up. You are able to manage a batch files too.
